Vintage Tool Tote ~

A flea market find in my dining room...
I forgot to show you....

A handmade tool carrier...
Tool carriers are not just for garages anymore!

When I purchased the old toolbox,
I wasn't sure where I was going to place it...

 and to be honest,
I don't remember how it ended up
in the dining room

...on my antique shoe cart.

I did a post about my shoe cart
which you can read about

I filled up the tool carrier with inexpensive ironstone ...
collected at thrift stores
and flea markets
....

My hutch is overflowing...
These are the pieces that don't fit in my hutch

Do I have too much ironstone??
Gosh I hope not!

I love the handmade nature of the tool carrier....
the color and the wood's patina...

If you look closely,
you can see somebody wrote their name
on the side of the box...

So charming to me

...and for $15.00

so totally worth it!

Knock Knock... & Sneak Peek ~

Anyone there?

Pinterest Source: Land of the Free, Via Underdogphoto

I'm still here.. and I hope you are too!

School starts for my kiddos week after next. We have really enjoyed our summer! We took a few short trips, visited colleges, had beach days, shopping trips, summer football and just returned from {a much needed} family vacation!

I'm always sad when summer comes to an end. My babies are growing way too quickly. But with Fall, comes football games (my son's senior year), my daughter's cheerleading and some much needed blogging time!

I'm looking forward to sharing some DIY projects, flea market finds and my living room makeover with you...

Here's a sneak peek of the living room chaos....

Hope you will stick around!
I'll be back soon!!
