The weatherman was predicting rain today so I wasn't terribly optimistic about going to the Wednesday Flea Market.... Not that I mind a few showers, but many sellers will avoid the travel and booth set up when showers are imminent...
I decided to take the risk and drove to my very favorite weekday flea.. Only a handful of sellers were there displaying their goods but I did manage to find a few things...

Probably end up in our wine closet
since it is an old Scotch crate...
Or possibly for magazines...

Heavy duty oak with years of worth of patina...
Perfect for little guests that drop by for a visit...
Also a nice plant stand...
I also love little chairs to use as a step stool!
This old crock was not purchased today
but thought I would share it with you...

Wonderful old basket that the seller told me was French...
Nice sturdy handles for carrying laundry...
I asked the seller "How do you know this basket is French?"
she showed me the bottom..

Now I know what to look for!

It started to rain after I bought the basket, so I decided to call it a morning...

You can also tell French baskets by the sturdy way they look and the color and patina. I broke out in a sweat the minute I saw it. It is always a gamble going to a flea market when the weather is not great. Sometimes the risk pays off however as sellers are eager too sell to break even for the day.

To have the first picture of your blogpost showing as a thumbnail on other blogrolls, you go back into Edit post and click the HTML button, Scroll down until you find the HTML code for the first picture in your post. Within that code you will find, once or twice this:
- https://...googleusercontent.com.
You need to make a couple of modifications, this is what you want -
http://...ggpht.com....
To RECAP https becomes http:/ / and googleusercontent.com becomes ggpht.com
